Exhibition Overview The overriding concept of the exhibition will be an exploration of the relationship between audio and visual realisation. The exhibition will have a heavy focus on human experiences, journeys, events and urban realities which people encompass throughout their daily lives where both sound and imagery play an important part.
We aim to create artworks which provide opportunities for people to empathise, to reflect, to share, to evoke memories of personal experiences. People will have the opportunity to view images and listen to sounds which may be familiar to them, each exhibit will also be an opportunity to experience something unique, a personal experience of the artist/s, or a piece of artwork which encourages people to question and explore their own past, to think about how our lives are mapped and integrated through both what we hear and what we see.
The exhibition will encourage interaction with the artworks, where people are able to view imagery with sounds in a variety of formats. We aim to use a wide range of media, from Moving Image (film and stop-animation), to Photography, 3 Dimensional work, Drawings and Painting.
